Sharlimar DeClay

Student Liaison 

Sharlimar DeClay is White Mountain Apache and Assiniboine. She is biszaha (Adobe Cut Bank People) born for dzilenti’n (Connecting Mountain People) and from the community of Whiteriver, located on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. Sharlimar is currently pursuing her Bachelor's of Social Work at Arizona State University and will graduate in 2024. She plans on starting her Master’s of Social Work program also at Arizona State University. She has an interest in working in child-welfare in her tribal community and in case management for the unsheltered population. 

Sharlimar is excited to serve as a student liaison with the Office of American Indian Initiatives.
